1. Quay Foreman
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety, environmental regulations, and discipline in the workplace.
- Manage the ‘Operations Work Schedule’ and allocate required resources.
- Oversee cargo loading and unloading, ensuring proper documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations for stacking and storage of goods.
- Ideal candidates should have experience in cargo yard/quay operations, particularly in steel, metal, or heavy product factories.
- Foreman, supervisor, or team lead roles will also be considered.
2. Yard Operations Foreman
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect cargo for damages and determine severity.
- Prepare incident reports and submit them to the general supervisor.
- Conduct toolbox talks before starting daily operations.
- Deploy resources for cargo receiving/delivery and monitor operations.
- Supervise manpower allocation and report shortages.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Candidates must have experience in logistics, cargo handling, or warehouse operations.
- Prior work in steel, metal, or heavy industrial products is preferred.
- Team leadership or supervisory experience is an added advantage.
